Public participation plays a vital role in the establishment of a biophilic city, as human dominant urban areas and control almost all urban resources, it is necessary to stimulate the awareness of living harmony with wildlife. Primary schools were selected as the objects in the Glasgow and establish a 1km walking circle of each school. It is because 1 km walking distance a daily is the most suitable for children (especially for primary school students) and the walking circle was established for the convenience of children to visit and learn.
The current vacant place is divided into two types: vegetation coverage vacant place and non-vegetation coverage vacant place.
